Events in March

Friday, March 8, 2024

Join us for a tour at the Textile Museum of Canada. We will be guided through the entire institution: starting from their permanent collection, to Gathering, as well as their special exhibit on Secret Codes: African Nova Scotian Quilts. The tour will discuss the functions of cloth as a form of cultural expression, with many of the pieces conveying experiences surrounding tradition, migration and community. This exclusive event operates on a first-come, first-serve basis!

We are excited to host an industry panel with professionals from the GLAM industry! The event will take place on Thursday, March 21st from 6:30-8:30pm inside the Copper Room of Goldring Centre. Our team has gathered three amazing panelists, David Fernández, Jessica Todd and Isabelle Segui, who have experience working in industries related to GLAM.The event is open to students and recent graduates with a UofT email.
