Victoria University in the 20th Century as Told by Vic Women
Have you ever wondered at what the Vic College community looked like 100 years ago? Gathering together for the first time, the GLAM team decided to pursue the narrative on the history of activist of Victoria College female students from the turn to the middle of the 20th century. In this exhibit, the GLAM teams defines activism as womens’ vigorous involvement in the social, cultural and also political life of the college, set in a much broader Canadian or global context. Our aim was to create a compilation of graphic and textual evidence from the Victoria University Archives to share the students’ joy and endevour during the process of completing of their Bachelor’s degree.
